NAAWLI Leadership Development Program
NAAWLI’s annual leadership development program provides an opportunity for entry-level to mid-level leaders to participate in our legendary programming. Our curriculum is designed to develop and excel professional black women into leadership roles.
NAAWLI’s curriculum is built upon 8 Core Tenets of Professional Development:
Leadership, Organizational Culture, Mentorship, Networking, Self-Care, Financial Acumen and Entrepreneurship, Presentation and Branding, Community Philanthropy
The 2025 program will be virtual with an in-person graduation celebration to maximize convenience and connectivity. The program occurs over three week-long sessions beginning in March, includes an individual Capstone, and concludes with a live graduation ceremony in November in Dallas, TX.
2025 Program Session Dates
- Session One: Monday, March 31st – Thursday, April 3rd, 2025
- Session Two: Monday, June 2nd – Thursday, June 5th, 2025
- Session Three: Monday, July 21st – Thursday, July 24th, 2025
Sessions are held Monday through Thursday – virtually via Zoom – from 10:00 AM EST to 4:00 PM EST.
All NAAWLI Program participants are required to complete an individual Capstone Project. A component of the Capstone is relevant Community Service Project participation. Engaging in the service of others through philanthropic efforts provides us with the opportunity to become active members of our community, while making a positive, transformative impact. As a NAAWLI participant, you have the opportunity to make an impact at work and in the community through the Capstone.
Program Tuition
- Early Bird: $5,500 per participant (due by January 31st, 2025)
- Regular Registration: $6,500 (due by March 7th, 2025)
- Bulk Registration: $5,500 for companies sponsoring 5+ applicants

SESSION ONE
MARCH 31st – APRIL 3rd, 2025
In Session One, you’ll join your NAAWLI sisters for networking, team-building activities, and in-depth professional and personal development programming to be successful in a leadership role. You’ll begin your first week with workshops, discussion groups, and classroom-style learning, and learn about requirements for your Capstone. Some Courses Include:

SESSION TWO
JUNE 2nd – JUNE 5th, 2025
Session Two is the nucleus of the leadership development program. The week-long experience includes intense coursework, support tools, and interactive experiences. Some Courses Include:

Financial Understanding for Executives
SESSION THREE
JULY 21st – JULY 24th, 2025
Session Three is the final week of programming. NAAWLI and your NAAWLI sisters have been with you every step of the way, supporting you and sharing resources as you apply what you’ve learned and have seen a difference in your workmanship. This session focuses on shifting behaviors and using tools at work. You’ll have the opportunity to present your Capstone Project. You will also be engaged in a week-long, interactive team project to showcase your leadership skills.
